USDT BEP-20 on BNB Smart Chain — Robuxer Payment Guide

Critical guide to paying Robuxer with USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) only — wrong-network risk, wallets, gas, and checkout matching.

Tiếng Việt ·

Wrong-network USDT sends are the number one recoverable failure that is actually unrecoverable in crypto checkout. Robuxer accepts USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) only — not TRON (TRC-20), not Ethereum (ERC-20), not Polygon. This guide explains why that constraint exists, how to pay safely, and what happens if you send on the wrong chain.

Disclaimer: Robuxer is an independent retailer, not affiliated with Roblox Corporation.

USDT and BEP-20 in one sentence

USDT · BNB Smart Chain · BEP-20 — treat these three words as a single payment instruction. "USDT" alone is incomplete and dangerous.

Why Robuxer uses BSC BEP-20 only

  • Automatic matching — BSC confirmations fit Robux checkout flow
  • Clear network label — one chain reduces support load vs multi-chain ambiguity
  • Cost — BSC fees are typically low (paid in BNB)

Supporting every chain sounds convenient but increases wrong-network loss. Robuxer chose one network explicitly.

The wrong-network catastrophe (read carefully)

USDT exists on multiple blockchains. Your wallet may hold:

NetworkToken standardRobuxer accepts?
BNB Smart ChainBEP-20YES — only this
TRONTRC-20NO
EthereumERC-20NO
PolygonPOSNO

If you send TRC-20 USDT to a BSC deposit address, funds do not arrive at Robuxer — they may be permanently lost or require expensive recovery that Robuxer cannot guarantee.

Why people make this mistake

  1. Address looks the same — EVM addresses start with 0x… on Ethereum, BSC, Polygon. The address string does not reveal the chain.
  2. Exchanges default to TRC-20 — many P2P sellers in Asia use TRON for cheap fees.
  3. UI small print — network selector buried in withdrawal screens.

Always select BNB Smart Chain / BSC before sending.

Wallet setup checklist

  1. Install a wallet with BSC support (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.)
  2. Add BNB Smart Chain network if not default
  3. Hold USDT (BEP-20) on BSC — withdraw from exchange with network = BSC
  4. Hold BNB for gas — without BNB, transactions fail
  5. Test with a small self-transfer if you are new

Paying a Robuxer order step-by-step

  1. Checkout on /robux or /gift-cards
  2. Select USDT BEP-20 payment
  3. On the pay screen, note:
  4. In your wallet: Network = BSC, Token = USDT
  5. Send exactly the displayed amount
  6. Wait for confirmations — order updates to paid
  7. Receive gift code or login top-up fulfilment

Exact amount matching

Robuxer matches payments by precise USDT amount. Do not round. Do not send "about $50" — send 50.37 if that is what the screen shows.

Underpay → delayed match. Overpay → support case.

BNB gas fees

Gas is paid in BNB, not USDT. Keep a small BNB balance (~$1–2) on BSC before paying. Wallets that show "insufficient funds" often mean insufficient BNB, not USDT.

Expired invoices

Crypto invoices expire. If expired:

  • Do not send to the old address expecting credit
  • Open order repay flow or create new order per site instructions
  • Ask @robuxersupport with order ID

Gift code vs login top-up (same network rules)

Both product types use identical USDT BEP-20 checkout. Network rules do not change — only delivery method after payment.

VNPay alternative

No crypto? Use VNPay at checkout instead — no wrong-network risk. Buy without credit card.

Scam warning

Support will never ask you to send USDT to a different address in Telegram DMs. Only pay the address on your order pay screen. Official support: @robuxersupport. Channel: @robuxer.

Pre-send final checklist

  • [ ] Token: USDT
  • [ ] Network: BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20)
  • [ ] Amount: exact from pay screen
  • [ ] BNB available for gas
  • [ ] Invoice not expired
  • [ ] Not TRC-20, not ERC-20

Exchange withdrawals: the critical dropdown

When withdrawing USDT from Binance, OKX, or similar to your wallet, the network dropdown is the decision point — not the address field. Screenshot your selection showing BSC/BEP-20 before confirming. Support teams worldwide cannot reverse TRC-20 withdrawals sent to BSC invoices.

MetaMask and Trust Wallet network switchers

Wallets show a network name at the top. If it reads "Ethereum Mainnet," you are not on BSC even if the token list shows USDT. Switch to BNB Smart Chain, then verify USDT contract balance on that network before sending to Robuxer.

Test transactions myth

Some guides suggest "send $1 test first" — Robuxer's invoice matching requires the exact order amount, so test sends do not map to your order and create orphan deposits. Instead, verify network in wallet UI, then send the full exact invoice once.

When crypto is wrong tool

If you only hold VND bank balance, VNPay avoids chain risk entirely. Crypto shines when you already hold USDT BEP-20 — not when you must P2P buy under time pressure from strangers.
